Half an hour later Ellie and Delil are sitting in the reception of St Matthew’s Primary School. There are notices on the wall warning about not taking photographs of children and having suitable identification, alongside framed paintings and drawings celebrating everything from the Queen’s birthday to football tournaments to one that shows children of all colours and creeds holding hands around the globe.

I woulld like to know what does " having suitable identification" here mean. Thanks. Does it mean "having identification card". Thanks.
