Hi. I was talking about San Marino football players with a language parner. I explain him that they are Italians.
Which one is correct?
When they play ON an Italian team they are considered Italian
When they play IN an Italian team they are considered Italian
When they play WITH an Italian team they are considered Italian
Thank you!

Ciao, Arti! You could say "on" an Italian team or "with" an Italian team. It's also common to say "for" e.g. they play "for" an Italian team.
Also, you should say you explained "to" him, not explained him. :-) Hope this helps!
