I am learning English because English is my working language. Firstly, I need to be able to use English at any official occasion, though most of my classmates are Chinese and we communicate with each other using Chinese in our daily lives. However, all of our classes are taught by English teacher’s and our official language is English. Secondly, I need to write English papers. Admittedly, English is the most widely used language and so all of our research outputs need to be published and communicated in English. Finally, I think English is a fun language and I love to learn it so that I can become a good communicator.
