It’s sunny today. We wished everyone a happy new year this morning. Then Mom and I took MeeMaw to the far end of the city for a walk. We took the metro to downtown, where everything was beautifully decorated in celebratory red. We strolled for hours through the bustling streets. Mom bought a bunch of chocolates, and MeeMaw had a lot. I feel grateful that MeeMaw can spend another happy, well day with us.
