To say "why" and "because" we have only a word "perché". 😊

Both “perché” have an accent, we use the same word for both “why” and “because.” As for your text, you need è with an accent (it’s a verb), and too match singular and plural: “La mia materia preferita a scuola è scienze perché imparo molte cose nuove ed è interessante.”
