Of course not. I think is an obvious false statement because there are many examples of new technologies that haven’t been very good. For instance, a great piece of technology like computers, they have many good things but they can be use to cause a lot of damage. In two thousand and eight a hacker hacked the computer of a hospital in Maine and caused a lot of trouble in the administrative department leading to health issues of several patients.

Years should always be written out numerically (i.e 2008, not two thousand and eight), Great work!

For instance, a great piece of technology like computers, they have many good things (you can also say: they are very helpful) but they can be used to cause a lot of damage. In two thousand and eight (just write: 2008), a hacker hacked the computer of a hospital in Maine and caused a lot of trouble in the administrative department leading to health issues for several patients.
