Hi, what's the exact difference between "hiking" and "trekking", I read that trekking is usually longer than hiking but Can a one day journey also considered as "trekking"?

Yes, trekking is longer than hiking and requires more effort, it’s more of a ‘journey’ than a hike so it typically refers to more than one day. A hike is easier and more relaxed :)
