Travelling abroad Travelling abroad have a lot of positive effects in our lives, that makes us more open minded, allows us to improve our language skills and gives us valuable experiences which affect our lifestyles. Furthermore, it is an experience which it is not proportional with the quantity of money you spend. Moreover, the best trips are always the ones in which you take your backpack and go walking through the cities in an environment where you can mix with native people. First entry, learning a language thoughts Hello everyone, I start my first notebook entry, I have high hopes in italki to improve my English. I have learned English seriously for 2 years ( actually I have spend my whole life but the experience in the Spanish education system doesn't count) I think the interactive way is the best way because is not only about language, the student needs to be interested in the whole language culture to keep learning, it is useless try to memorize the same things in a textbook. The real world keeps you fully engaged with your language education so unless you are in a foreign country this website could work. One time a big friend of mine told me: playing an instrument is like having a plant, if you don't water it frequently it dies and then you need to start again. Well, I think a language is the same.
