Is it correct? Hi, I was doubting about something... So I've read a story today, I'm learning the tenses, specifically present simple. And I started to think in what way I would have told the story, so I wonder if in this way is also correct: The story which I've read it is: ''I was walking down the street the other day when suddenly this man comes up to me and tells me he has lost his wallet and asks me to lend him some money. Well, he looks a bit dangerous so I'm not sure what to do …'' And this is the way I would have told: ''I was walking down the street the other day when suddenly this man come to me and told me that he lost his wallet and asks me to lend him some money. Well, he looked a bit dangerous so I was'nt sure what to do ...'' I think I just change the present forms to past jaja but I'm still wonder if is it correct. I also have a confusion between the verbs ''lend'' and ''borrow''. I'm not sure what is the difference between both.

Someone to practice My name is Dayelis, I'm 20 years old. Now I'm college student so I'm bussy the most part of day. But I feel like my life is trough my eyes and I don't speak good English yet. Daily Rutine Monday to Friday I wake up at 6 o’clock. I get up at 6:30. I eat eggs for breakfast. I have a shower and get dressed. I pack my bag and I say goodbye to Marta, Adam and the cat Lucifer, they are the family that I am living during these 3 months of exchange program. I leave the house and I walk to the bus stop. I catch the but at 8 o'clock. It takes about 55 minutes to get to the University where I study Languages. The college where I go is beautiful. The campus has great buildings and a lot of vegetation. In the afternoon I have lunch and I then catch the bus back home and I call my family before I cook dinner. Sometimes Marta and Adam cooks dinner before I get home, and sometimes I cook. After dinner I do my homework until 10:30. I go to bed everyday at 11:30. On weekends I wake up early to cook the breakfast and clean Adam’s and Marta’s house. I go to the park with some friends that I met in class or ride bike for a while.

My current problems Hello, then i going to write my current problems. You would help me a lot correcting, i'm newbie in English. The past week my university had a problem with the water. So i lost a WEEK of class of this trimester and TWO days (yesterday and today). I mean, with another words i've A LOT of evaluations in a few days. Literally, the next week i've a test of economy, i'll deliver of a house project: like eight plans (Giovannitti House) you can see in google is a horrible (hard) house. Not including that this same week i'll deliver topography practices AND i start a English course. For the next week (the week next at the next lol) i've a MATH TEST and next to this day i've a topography test too. In summary, i will die.

Improve your spanish/english with songs Today i had an idea for improve my English: listen english songs and write exactly what I hear. And then correct me with google. I also thought about doing it with a native English speaker, and take advantage of and recommend music in Spanish. So... Someone wants to do it? :D By the way, i love indie rock, alternative rock, folk rock, everything derived from rock. But I'm also a book open to new music.
