Learning a New Language I think an incredible thing to do is to learn a new language. Since last year, I've been learning Mandarin Chinese at a really slow pace, but I think it has been worth since I've been able to improve my pronunciation, that I think is the hardest thing about the language. Because of that, I've been having lessons with a community tutor here on iTalki. She's nice and very helpful. I may not be able to have a full Chinese conversation with her yet, but I think soon I will be able to... I'm learning new vocabulary each day and that gives me the motivation to continue learning. I hope one day I can become fluent.

My summer plans Apparently, I won't be doing anything during my summer break. Well, at least for now. So probably I will be studying Mandarin Chinese in order to improve it. Also, I would like to practice my English by writing and speaking. On the other hand, I need to start looking for a job for next semester since I will be completing my university degree next year and I don't have much experience in my area. That means I need to star sending letters and review and make corrections to my resume. Hopefully, I will find something by the end of the summer (or before it ends).

Is there any difference between 今天 and 今日? Also, which one is used more often? Thank you!

Another day So today I didn't do much. I woke up around 5:45 a.m. Pretty early, but I had to because each Monday and Wednesday I have a class at 7 a.m. To be honest, I did not want to go today because yesterday I went to sleep pretty late. After my class, I had to go to the library to check on a book I lost and had to replace. Then I decided to go home and get back to sleep. I woke up around 2 in the afternoon and had lunch with my mom around an hour later. I did pretty much nothing during the next couple hours until it was time to go to class again, around 8 in the evening, since a teacher canceled my previous class. I got back home at 10, had dinner and now I'm going to sleep soon. Thank you for reading!
