First notebook entry: Introducing myself Estoy aprendiendo espanol porque me gusta aprendiendo cosas nuevas, y tengo una (se se la palabra) con la cultura mexicana/espana. I am learning Spanish because I enjoy learning new things, and I have a connection to the Mexican-Spanish culture. Yo nacia y vivia mucho de my vida en New Mexico, he vivido mucho de mi vida pacticando la cultura de mis amigos los que tengo. I was born and lived most of my life in New Mexico, and I have lived much of my life practicing the culture of the many friends I have had over the years. I did not realize that I lived a "Spanish" culture until I moved away from New Mexico, and I realized that I lived slightly differently than the other people around me. The Spanish language is a part of the culture that I feel connected to, but I never took the time to learn the language. I wish that I had done so... Rick
