Hello! I’m Lois, a Yorkshire-based Business English specialist who helps professionals speak confidently and *succeed at work*. Whether it’s delivering great presentations, impressing at interviews, or mastering workplace small talk, I’ll equip you with the language - and the courage - to shine.
With 15+ years in education, business, and NGOs (plus a Cambridge award in Intercultural Communication), I draw upon my varied experience to inform my teaching. Fun fact: I’m also a foodie and art lover, so our lessons might include debates about the world's best art or food!

I have a friendly and natural coaching style and a real interest in helping students develop their full potential. I love to work with students who feel a bit nervous about speaking English and who feel the fear of making mistakes or not being as good as others is holding them back.

* Conversation and culture - developing your ability to have natural conversations about a range of topics with a native speaker. This quickly develops both your speaking and listening skills and your knowledge of British culture.
