Certified TEFL teacher since 2020. Hello. My name is Marlene and I am from sunny South Africa. I've been teaching English as a second language online since December 2020 and I am TEFL certified. When I'm not helping my wonderful students gain confidence in their speaking skills, I enjoy long outdoor walks with my dogs and functional strength training. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as an internationally qualified spa therapist and manager and I also successfully owned and operated a bakery for seven years. My teaching style is best described as kind, patient and caring. I am a personable and relatable teacher.
