Hi! I'm Angel, a licensed English and Filipino (Tagalog) educator from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with 21 units completed in professional teacher education. My neutral accent in both languages and adaptable teaching methodology make me particularly effective in instructing beginner to intermediate learners, as well as those focusing on conversational fluency. I specialize in teaching teenagers and adults, creating a supportive learning environment, and making sure that my teaching approach is student-centered.

I am an enthusiastic, kind, and patient teacher. I will make you feel comfortable in my class, so you don't have to worry. I will not pressure you because I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. My goal here is to impart my knowledge about the English and Filipino language without you feel intimidated. From the very first day, Angel made me feel comfortable and safe, just like a friend. She is very kind and patient, always taking time to explain everything clearly. I never feel rushed, and I can ask as many questions as I need without feeling embarrassed.

Teacher Angel does a good job at meeting you where you are in your learning. She takes the time to review content from previous lessons before moving onto new topics to make sure things are going smoothly and work out any ideas that need improvement. She’s very sweet and is nonjudgmental! Looking forward to more lessons with her :)
