His style of teaching is incredible and really goes into the minutia of the language and the way the brain naturally processes language. He was recommended to me by my friend, who said that of all the people he's learned Japanese from over the years, Yoshi Shimizu has taught him the most by far.

よしさん was very good at carrying the conversation, even with my not particularly great speaking skills. He spent a good amount of time allowing me to answer questions and providing support when needed as well as providing a challenging but appropriate level of listening practice. I felt very comfortable and that the time was used very well. Highly recommend!
