I'm thrilled to say I passed the JLPT N3 exam after six months of lessons with Koizumi-sensei and two months of dedicated self-study! Her teaching was a huge part of this achievement. Thank you sensei! Koizumi-sensei is incredibly friendly, kind, and patient, and she always adapted the lessons to my personal learning pace. She has a great way of making learning engaging by building our conversations around both everyday topics and my specific interests. This personalised approach made every session feel both relevant and personal. Our focused time on practice questions was invaluable and gave me the confidence I needed for the test. Thanks to Koizumi sensei, I passed the JLPT N3 on my first try - with a full score on the reading section! When I first started taking lessons, I was planning to take N4. But after my first lesson, Koizumi sensei encouraged me to aim for N3. First, she helped me work through the entire 中級を学ぼう textbook, with lots of attention paid to understanding the reading passages and grammar points. She also recommended short writing exercises and provided valuable verbal and written feedback on my work, which greatly helped me improve my writing ability and grammar understanding. After finishing the textbook, we practiced many N3 questions together, with a focus on sections I was not confident in. We would consistently review questions I had missed previously to ensure I had understood my mistakes. Because of Koizumi sensei's teaching and encouragement, I felt confident taking the N3, and I was able to pass by a wide margin. I am very grateful for her instruction!

Today was my first class and I'm really happy. She is a very lovely and patient teacher, I'll keep booking classes with her!
