Ζήν δεινότατος ἑλληνίζειν καὶ ἀεὶ προθύμως διδάσκει. πρᾴως μὲν γὰρ ἐπανορθοῖ τὰ ἁμαρτήματά μου, ἐᾷ δέ με ἀσκεῖν τὸ λέγειν. μάλιστα δὲ ἥδομαι αὐτῷ διαλεγόμενος. εὐδαίμων δὴ ἐγενόμην τοιοῦτον διδάσκαλον εὑρών. ὄναιντο δὲ πολλοὶ ἄλλοι τῆς αὐτοῦ ἐπιμελείας !

Zen is top notch! He is consistently well prepared and genuinely open to discussion. In our sessions, we worked through texts by Plato, Thucydides, and Gorgias, among others. He gives me handout every time after class, with explanations in Greek. When we were reading difficult texts like Thucydides, he went out of his way to write paraphrases in simpler Greek to help with my study. I would highly recommend studying Greek with him at any level.
