I have been studying Japanese for years, both in and outside of traditional classrooms. In that time, I have never had a teacher give me as much personalized focus as Junko-sensei. My goal is to advance my vocabulary and grammar usage beyond the simple ones that I’ve come to rely on, and Junko-sensei pushes me to do that. She guides me through challenges and helps me improve with unlimited patience and encouragement. Junko-sensei is the type to adjust to your level, so there’s never any pressure, even if the topic is difficult! Today we talked about AI, specifically about the positives and negatives of the system and its real-world applications. This topic has a lot of technical language that I didn’t know, but Junko-sensei listened carefully and helped me through rephrasing my answers. I feel more confident about Japanese than I have in years. If you want to level up your Japanese or even if you're just beginning, I highly recommend taking a class with her!

I have been working with Junko san for over half a year already and I can clearly see the progress. When we started I could barely read hiragana and could only say my name, now I can make proper sentences and tell about my day and plans I have, do the test questions etc. I think I chose the best teacher on iTalki since I am still very motivated to learn and improve. Not to mention Junko san has a great personality. Highly recommend
