I have been taking lessons with Jihoon Ssaem since June 2022 and every single lesson has been effective and worthwhile. What I love most about taking classes with Jihoon Ssaem is his ability and willingness to accommodate to the needs of the learner. This makes every single lesson valuable. Also, he is very friendly and has a great personality. I look forward to every lesson with him and highly recommend him as a teacher.

I highly recommend 지훈 쌤 whether you want to start learning Korean or deepen your knowledge. I’ve had quite a few lessons with 지훈 쌤 already, and I can really see my skills improve with every lesson. The teacher suggested a variety of exercises and approaches to lessons until we settled on the one that suited my needs and interests. 지훈 쌤 is very patient and helps comprehend every aspect of the Korean language and culture.

I really appreciate having a tutor who is informed beyond just language expertise so we can have a wide range of conversation. Classes are always interesting!

It’s rare to find a teacher who has an answer to all your questions and deliver them in an illustrative manner. Equally important, when unsure, Jihoon takes the time to research and find the answer for me before the next class. His instructional skills are phenomenal. Jihoon will make you feel at ease as he guides you to meet your Korean learning goals.

Even though vocabulary is a challenge Jihoon_Ssaem breaks it down very well and adds a lot of context so I get a better grasp on meaning. Always with a great sense of humor!
