Claire

I just had my first lesson with Claire, and I really enjoyed it! It was my first time trying to have a conversation in French, and Claire spoke slowly at a level I could follow. She was very friendly and patient, giving me the time to think and express myself, even when I struggled to find the right words. Claire also discussed my learning goals and provided helpful resources tailored to my interests. Throughout the lesson, she took notes and corrected my mistakes, which is really useful for reviewing later. I also mentioned that I plan to visit Brittany next year, and she kindly gave me some great travel recommendations. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their French!

Claire is an excellent teacher. My eight year old has been resisting learning french despite us living in France. Claire has somehow found a way that has not just encouraged my daughter to use french in every day life but has her enthusiastic and excited about each lesson. I highly recommend Claire.

I’ve been taking lessons from Claire now for about two months. I’ve been skeptical about online learning in the past, but I’ve really been impressed. Claire isn’t simply a tutor, but is a professional educator, highly skilled in her craft. She uses a variety of methods to help me learn throughout our lessons. In addition to the lessons themselves, she has power points that she shares with you and continues to update her material and make new ones. I feel my online learning with Claire is much more effective than my face to face french lessons in years past. Claire is truly the lodestar of French instructors.
