An incredible teacher! Would highly recommend

Ms. Cam is an amazing Vietnamese teacher. She speaks English well and can explain the Vietnamese language and grammar in a way that makes it easy to understand. She is very kind, gentle, and patient. She also adds a lot of helpful information about Vietnam and Vietnamese culture.

Cô Thu is very clear in her explanation of pronunciation of vowels, semi-vowels and consonants, and she's very patient. I highly recommend her lessons!

Cẩm Thu was a delight to work with in my trial lesson! She is kind, encouraging, and helped me open up while speaking Vietnamese. I didn't feel uncomfortable making mistakes, and she is quick to guide me through mistakes and knowledge gaps. I appreciated her thorough explanations and her clarification of cultural uses of certain words. She is quick to adapt to students' knowledge levels and encourages speaking Vietnamese in the classroom. She is also knowledgeable regarding Vietnamese linguistic history/etymology, which is a bonus! Highly recommend booking a lesson with her!

I just started back learning Vietnamese with Cam after about a year's absence. I feel like she is one of the best teachers on italki. Her teaching style is super positive and encouraging, and it makes learning easy. Over the course of a year I thought I had forgotten all of the Vietnamese I knew, but by the end of the first lesson, Cam had me remembering everything I forgot and had me back to speaking Vietnamese at a normal cadence. I highly recommend her as a teacher!
