I highly recommend Vane as a Spanish teacher. She is very attentive, organized, knowledgeable, and caring. She always has activities and exercises that can help the students. I have had around 40 sessions with her and am planning to continue learning and improving with her help. She also publishes interesting podcasts in italki. I always enjoy listening to them. Vane is a professional, passionate, and well versed instructor. She has a keen understanding of Spanish and language overall. She remains focused/engaged throughout the class and provides excellent feedback to correct mistakes and continually expand learning. Her love of languages and teaching, as well as her kind and caring personality, makes the classes fun and relaxed. I've taken Spanish lessons with 30+ instructors over multiple years and Vane truly is top-notch.

Profe Vane is a great teacher for conversational practice as well as teaching grammatical concepts. She helps keep the conversation flowing and gives tips and corrections in a very easy-going and easy to understand manner. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Today’s class with Vanessa was una verdadera joya — if by “joya” you mean getting gently but relentlessly tortured with the subjunctive 😅. And I loved every minute of it. Vanessa has this magical mix of kindness, patience, and just the right amount of challenge. She doesn’t let you off the hook easily (believe me, I tried!), but she does it all with a huge dose of compassion and humor. We dove deep into the subjunctive today, and I left the class with my brain spinning de felicidad gramatical. If you want to truly improve your Spanish while laughing, thinking, and occasionally groaning dramatically (in a good way), Vanessa is the teacher for you. Highly, highly recommended.
