My name is Muntassir Altamy. I'm a professional, experienced and creative Arabic teacher for non-native speakers from Egypt. for more than 20 years of teaching experience. I am graduated of "Dar Al Uloom" faculty from Cairo University in 2004.
My main specialization is "Arabic language and Islamic Studies" and I am doing my Master in Arabic Linguistics and teaching Arabic .
I have 20+ years work experience in teaching Arabic, Islamic studies, Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian colloquial, Media Arabic, Grammar, and literature in centers, schools, and institutes, but mainly online (for non-native speakers).Moi en tant que professeur
Teaching isn't just a job for me but it is a life to interact with different nationalities and to share my culture. There is no happier than seeing the joy of my students eyes when they are able to use the Arabic language and progress it day by day.
I customize my teaching approach based on my student’s needs and goals. Also I seek to improve my student confidence in using the language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) with a focus on everyday life. I use different books and also I use my own materials to fulfill my students' learning needs. We went through some conversations to focus on my reading and my understanding and revisited words I did not understand. Muntassir also provided me with extra resources so that I can practice in time for my next lesson.
I am still slow but I can see an improvement compared to when I started and for that I am very grateful.

As always the class was useful and enjoyable with Ustadh Muntassir. We read through a text and covered grammar related to this. Ustadh Muntassir varies his lessons ranging from classical to contemporary texts & articles. He gives plenty of opportunity to read, speak and ask questions. Shukran jazeelan!

Muntassir gathers what my current level of understanding and knowledge is in each topic and tailors the lesson accordingly. I feel comfortable in learning from him as I always feel embarrassed and judged when I speak to Arabs but I am grateful to Muntassir for how patient and understanding he is. Would highly recommend.
