Jonas

Jonas is an excellent teacher, he's very friendly and patient. I am a beginner, but I don't feel nervous to talk with Jonas because he's always so supportive and kind. I feel very motivated to learn German with Jonas.

Each lesson with Jonas is enjoyable and I learn new words and phrases every time! He is flexible in scheduling lessons and being able to chat without expectation and stress helps me to be more comfortable while speaking. He is open to go with the flow of the conversation and this makes me feel at ease to see myself participating in a conversation in a more natural way. Thank you!

Jonas was a very good teacher! Even though I had a 45 minutes lesson, I learned a lot of words. He challenged me and pushed me to talk about even more "difficult" and challenging topics. The conversation was very natural and fun. Highly recommended!

This is how we did the Reading & Listening class with Jonas: I’ve started reading a text that I’ve previously selected. After each paragraph, I tried to summarize what I think that I understood and get clarifications from Jonas of the words and phrases that I didn’t quite get. He also corrects me right away when I misunderstood something. I find this method is a great way for me to check my reading and listening comprehension. I’ve learned so many new words and phrases! But more importantly, I get to correct the words and phrases that I mistakenly learned in a wrong way. Jonas is always very kind, attentive and willing to provide extensive clarifications about the meanings of words. Always looking forward to the next class!
