Hi, I've taken overall about 1,800 lessons in French and Spanish on italki and rarely do I write a review, but I have to for my girl Leydi. She is patient, organized, and perceptive. When she spots a knowledge gap in your conversation, she will plan a custom lesson to educate and practice with you so you won't make the error again. She also will notate new words and your mistakes and send you the information after class. She is punctual and open to talk about sensitive topics like politics, the state of the world, and philosophy/sociology. She is not afraid to address your errors in a kind fashion, and doesn't hold any punches with educating her students. I have learned so much from working with her the last several months, I highly recommend her, and I will continue to work with her. Peace and Love.

I started learning Spanish with Leydi from scratch with no background in Spanish at all, and she has done an amazing job guiding me from the very beginning! She is always well prepared and comes to each lesson with a clear plan, which makes our classes feel structured and productive. Leydi’s very patient and creates a comfortable learning environment. I never feel rushed or embarrassed when I make mistakes, and she takes the time to explain everything clearly. I especially appreciate her clear grammar explanations and the helpful feedback she gives. She makes sure I understand how to actually use what we learn, and I’ve seen real progress since starting lessons with her :)

More work with reflexive verbs today. Leydi gave great examples and pointed out details I didn't know yet about which prepositions to use with which verbs. In my case at least she breaks down the lessons into bits as small as I need to get them to make sense. So far it's working! Thank you as always!

Leidy is wonderful, the platform is oversaturated with teachers so it can be hard to find such a knowledgeable teacher like her. She makes the class very comfortable, is patient, takes amazing notes for feedback and correction. Her explanations are so helpful and I learn so much every time I have a class with her. She is the perfect teacher to increase your spanish fluency!
