Antonio

I have been doing weekly conversation lessons with Antonio for about a year to try to revive Italian that I learned many years ago in college. Antonio pushes you to try to speak to your best capability while also being patient and understanding when it takes a little while to spit out something that's not quite entirely correct. He also speaks perfect english, so I feel like we can really get to the true meaning of what I want to express instead of needing to simplify or generalize my thought in order to communicate (very helpful). I've learned and re-learned so much from him over the past year and have gained so much confidence in speaking Italian with others that I do it daily--something I would not have imagined possible even just a year ago.

I've been taking lessons with Antonio for a while and he's been awesome. He adapts to my learning style, pushes me when needed and provides clear explanations around harder concepts. Great teacher and guide for learning Italian!

Antonio is an excellent teacher even though it doesn’t feel like he is when teaching you Italian. You feel as though you are talking with a class mate or a friend. He makes you feel relaxed, very supportive and you walk away knowing you are in good hands with him. He listens very carefully to you and makes sure no matter how long it takes for you to learn the lesson for that day. I definitely recommend him to everyone.

It was clear to me from the first lesson that Antonio has a natural talent for teaching! He effortlessly challenges his students while maintaining a fun and stress-free environment. It is clear that he cares for his students and wants to aid in the learning process in any way he can. He provides great explanations, examples, and documents to help with grammar & vocab. His lessons are well-rounded and I end each lesson with new and relevant skills. He gives in-depth answers to any questions and makes sure that I understand concepts before moving on. He pushes me out of my comfort zone to make sure that I maximize my learning during our lessons. He is a very patient & understanding person and I have learned so much already from his lessons! He's truly a fantastic teacher!!

Antonio is a very thoughtful, precise, and patient teacher. During our first lesson, I was a bit nervous as I had not spoken Italian in some time, and he put me at ease right away. He validated the little experience I did bring to the conversation and did not make me feel intimidated, which was very comforting. He was able to evaluate my skill level, helped to clarify my goals, and gave me a targeted plan for improving my Italian for my upcoming vacation. I look forward to our next lesson. Ci vediamo presto, maestro!
