¡Hola! Hello, Premium Language Instruction. Advanced Certified Teacher and Translator with over 20 years experience. 16 years living in Latin America. 10 years online. Domino el español. Let's get started! My interests have always been in language, travel and outdoor sports, but I like learning new completely random things that have nothing to do with my main interests. I like science and wildlife. I was born and raised in New Jersey, in the northeast of the United States of America. I'm probably a bit more excited about language than even my students are. I focus on what will work best for my student. Should I speak slowly, quickly, make the subject matter easy or challenging. Importantly, what does the student want from the class. That's what I try to do. I never thought I would become a teacher. Since I was 18 years old I started tutoring and then one after another opportunity came up in which I found myself teaching. I realized that I loved teaching. Since I didn't go through the normal route to get a teaching certificate in college, when I finally did start teaching I put a lot of pressure on myself to be the best teacher I could be and to really reach my students. My classes are private, so I try to customize the class for each student and to identify their needs. It actually takes a few classes to do this, which is difficult because the student usually expects you to figure it out quickly. I try to help each person to reach their language goals of fluency and to give them the skills to be a better language learner so that they aren't dependent upon me or any other teacher or material. My main goal is for the student to speak 80% of the time in class.Mes ressources d'enseignement

In addition to teaching six ESL classes a day, I organized a public speaking club modeled after Toast Masters International and a movie night and other corporate activities with everyone in the company from the head boss and CEO to the developers and programmers. Mark is patient and listens to me struggle with appropriate clarification of pronunciation or proper grammar that encourages me and eases my path. He uses graphics and reading materials to expand my vocabulary and knowledge of how natives use the language. He is the perfect teaches for me.

Working with Mark has been a great experience so far my son is only 8 and has learning issues and just in 2 sessions he has learned a lot. Mark really takes his time teaching and explaining everything to him in detail which really helps, he also pays attention to see if my son needs a break from one thing or another to keep him encouraged when he gets upset at himself. I would recommend Mark to any one but for sure great with kids.
