Prof Davide

I'm so glad that I found Davide on iTalki! I'm an advanced Italian student, and we've been reading a book in Italian together chapter by chapter and discussing it every week. The conversations we have are always delightful and thought-provoking. He is extremely prepared, enthusiastic, eloquent, always finds ways to teach me new vocabulary and idioms in Italian, and never fails to make me laugh! I would never have gained such a complex understanding of this piece of literature if it hadn't been for our discussions. He is an excellent teacher, and I'm very happy to recommend him.

Professor Davide is one of the best instructors on italki if not the best. He keeps the conversation lively and engaging, always speaking at your level while making thoughtful corrections. What sets him apart is that he explains why a correction is needed or offers a more natural, common way of saying something. His teaching style is excellent: he gives recommendations for podcast and other cultural experiences that support your learning outside the classroom. Every lesson is interesting and personalized, and you can really tell he cares about helping you improve. I recommend Davide to anyone who is serious about learning Italian.

Davide is a great Italian professor. I was feeling a bit nervous about feeling dumb for not speaking a word, but he made sure I felt comfortable with my very limited (-0) Italian skills.

Out of all the teachers in here that I have worked with, Davide is the only one that stands out! He is both professional, but also feels like learning with a friend. He provides clear distinction in his teachings and provides tailored materials and notes every class. I have noticed a significant improvement on Day 1 and now! Can't recommend him enough!

Davide is a superb teacher and conversationalist. He's always extremely professional and prepared and yet wonderfully relaxed and easy to converse with.
