Shiina 先生 is an amazing teacher, she's so kind and patient. She always comes to class with a cheery attitude and does everything she can to make the class environment as comfortable as possible. I tend to be a bit socially anxious, but Shiina 先生 is incredible at knowing how to ask the right questions to keep a conversation going naturally while keeping in mind the Japanese level of her students. Sometimes I'll think that maybe I can't explain something in Japanese, but with her patience and assistance, it feels like we can talk about anything. Her explanations of grammar rules has also helped me immensely to wrap my head around concepts that otherwise would have left me stuck. I would highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a teacher.

Shiina is a professional teacher, structured, and easy to talk to, plus it was a very fun lesson. It was a surprisingly very good lesson, and exactly what I'm looking for. Will be booking many more lessons with Shiina先生.

I've had 4 lessons now with Shiina先生, and I'm so thankful that I found her! My first lesson with Shiina先生 was my first time ever having a conversation in Japanese (besides talking to myself!) after studying on my own for quite a while. I was so nervous and I wasn't even sure if I would be able to say anything at all! She was so kind and friendly, and immediately put me at ease. She speaks clearly, uses words that are easier to understand at my level, and anticipates what I'm trying to say and helps me along. She asked me what approach I preferred for feedback, and I chose to receive feedback at the end of the lesson, which has been working great for me! Her feedback is extremely helpful, as well as formatted nicely. She's already helped me fix mistakes I made that I wasn't even aware of. As her student, she lets you decide what works best for you personally, which is wonderful. Please don't hesitate to book a lesson with Shiina先生, she is such an excellent and fun teacher!
