Steve

Steve is an awesome teacher. I had 10 sessions for Interview Coaching and Preparation. He taught me how to nail an interview with Americans and what to expect to speak in American English. His strengths are: HE IS A PRO Steve is professional in both teaching English and how to do a job interview. He has developed his own methods over time that prove efficient and effective. My interview went well! HE IS ENGAGED Through out all sessions, he was always engaged, though we are in different time zones. He made every effort to help me. He is an enthusiastic supporter. I can feel that teaching makes him happy. HE ENCOURAGES I started without confidence in the first session. He encouraged me in a way that he was not telling me what I (ego) wanted to hear but what I had achieved and I needed to improve. HE MENTORS Steve’s teaching is beyond English language and interview tricks. I felt like being mentored by him learning interpersonal communication, and appreciation of what I really am.

Steve is a great teacher! The way he combines complex grammatical theory and easy to understand explanation is absolutely amazing. Also, it is worth adding that Steve is an open and charismatic person!

Steve’s lessons are very impressive. I think his understanding of English is profound and unique. Philosophically, his teaching is based on the theory that fluency comes from subconsciousness, which is how we speak our first language. His analysis of brain function is very insightful and inspiring. I think it’s critical to have an effective and efficient study method, and he provides this. Methodologically, he has created and continues to develop a systematic series of lessons, from word level to sentence level. My feeling is that every student, no matter what level his/her English is, could deepen his/her understanding of elements and structures of English expressions with his lessons. Together with the exercises he created, I’m quite sure students could make substantial progress. I’m happy to learn from him and will continue to do this. My recommendation is that if you are a serious English learner who wants to achieve English fluency, you should work with Steve for this goal.
