I’ve officially reached 50 lessons with Văn and I can say that there will be a lot more in the future ! While being an absolute gem of human being and teacher, he helped me grow my skills and confidence when it comes to Vietnamese. While I’m still far from being fluent, I now feel good enough to try and speak in small daily tasks and also around family. Every time I know that a class is coming up I’m hyped and can’t wait to practice and learn more, it’s rare to meet a teacher that makes you want to keep coming for more and that adapts perfectly to not make you feel lost or uneasy. I would 1000% recommend Văn to anyone wanting to start or grow their Vietnamese skills ! Cảm ơn em !

Van is very friendly, the teaching atmosphere is quite comfortable, I could learn a lot of things step by step and it is relaxed which makes to continue the classes without having any pressure. He is patient and would review whatever we have learned, even I keep forgetting as I have no time to review after classes. Thanks to his patience and the regular practices, I am making steady progress. 除了教越南语，阿文老师自己也自学其他外语，比如汉语、韩语。他是一个非常和蔼可亲努力争取进步的优秀老师！

After 73 lessons I feel like I'm starting to pick up on some of the subtleties of the language. Văn is also verz good at explaining them with many examples!

Comme toujours, Văn est un professeur génial ! J'ai encore une fois beaucoup apprécié notre cours. Le contenu produit par Văn est de haute qualité, il met beaucoup de cœur à l'ouvrage. Sa manière d'enseigner est humaine et axée sur le développement des compétences de communication, ce qui constitue, selon moi, une bonne approche compte-tenu du degré de difficulté élevé de la phonologie vietnamienne (surtout pour ceux qui n'ont jamais étudié de langue tonale). Ensuite Văn propose un enseignement dont les unités sont clairement délimitées en chapitres thématiques. La grammaire n'est pas abordée en premier pour dériver vers la pratique, elle est proposée à l'étude dans des situations de communication. Ainsi, je pense que tout débutant fera le bon choix de prendre pour professeur ce cher Văn ! Je remercie sincèrement Văn pour tout ce travail. Je puis écrire sans l'ombre d'une exagération que j'attends nos cours avec une grande impatience. Je le recommande plus que chaudement !

Van has been an amazing tutor to work with. He explains things in a way that makes sense and is very patient when I need more time to get the tones down. He also uses different examples when reviewing material until it really clicks.
