Great first lesson with Andrés. He has a very calm demenour and is very patient even if I make mistakes, especially at the latter half of the lesson. He asked great questions to grasp my level of Spanish and was able to give me an interesting exercise to sharpen my understanding of the pretérite. I also liked that he took time to tell me about living in Buenos Aires and the culture of Argentina. It was nice meeting him and his cat. I look forward to improving my Spanish with him.

Andrés is a professional teacher with a lot of experience teaching at all levels. There are so many benefits in having an empathetic teacher with the experience to understand exactly what you need to progress with your learning. In comparison to non-experienced teachers or tutors the difference is clear, you make progress faster and a good teacher is able to identify the areas that you need to work on. I've had 80 lessons with Andrés and I continue with him for good reasons. The most important of these include his ability to understand what you need to work on next, his understanding of your goals, the mixture of activities, the huge amount of learning material he has, the way he adapts the lessons to suit you from easy to comfortable to challenging based on how I feel or what I need. I feel like I'm in the hands of a coach, a tutor, a learning partner and most importantly a real human that cares about what he does and also about your progress. Five stars (x80) all round.

Andres is an extremely good teacher of Spanish. He uses a variety of effective techniques to get the most out of the learning experience. He is the best.

Andres is very laid back and encouraging, which is great if you struggle with confidence, like I do. His materials are clear and flexible.
