I had my Kannada class with Girish while he was travelling in Leh, and it was such a unique experience to be learning while getting a glimpse of the incredible landscapes he was walking through during our class. We explored interesting Kannada words, I tried to explain my crazy new work, and then I got to ask him all about his trip. One of my questions was about the local trick for dealing with “soroche” (altitude sickness) in Ladakh — something we both know from our South American experiences! I absolutely love my classes with Girish. He is so easy to talk to, incredibly helpful, and every session is filled with laughter. Beyond learning Kannada, I always leave our classes with great conversations and memorable moments. He has a wonderful way of making learning feel natural, fun, and meaningful.

I've been learning Kannada with Girish for a while now, and what makes him truly exceptional is how much thought he puts into every lesson.
