Hi, I'm Natsu😊
I was born in Kumamoto and now live in Saga Prefecture, Japan.
I love Japanese traditional culture and nature.
I also enjoy camping, hiking, and watching movies and anime — my recent favorite is “Look Back”!
I also love playing the ukulele!
I studied Japanese literature at university and worked in Tokyo for 10 years as a web director. Now, I work as a freelance Japanese teacher and web consultant.

In 2023, I completed a Japanese teacher training course and passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test.
Now I teach Japanese at a language school, an online school, and an IT company.
With about 10 years of experience as a web director, I can also help with business Japanese.
🏫 I teach beginner to intermediate classes (around 20 students) at a Japanese language school.
💻 I give private and small group lessons at an online Japanese school in Taiwan.
🧑💻 I also teach business Japanese to engineers at an IT company.

Just finished my fifth Japanese lesson with なつ先生! ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ I’m really grateful for such an amazing and warm teacher. I've definitely noticed a huge improvement with my Japanese and I’m gaining more confidence to use it and have conversations with people, especially at work. ナツ、面白い話をありがとう！
文化って、食べ物とか言葉だけじゃなくて、ボディランゲージとか、あいづちとか、いろんな習慣にも関係してるって話すの、すごく楽しいね。
オーストリアやドイツでは、ほんとに人がよくジロジロ見てくるんだよ。しかも、感情のない顔で（笑）
いつかナツがオーストリアに来たら、たぶんびっくりすると思うよ〜。
日本に行ったら、落語の公演も見てみたいし、時間があれば『コクホウ』っていう映画も観てみるね！おすすめしてくれてありがとう！
