I started teaching Japanese on italki in May 2015.
I took a long break from teaching for personal reasons, but now I’m thinking of slowly coming back and teaching again.
I’m really happy to help you practice Japanese in a relaxed and friendly way.

My lessons are mainly conversation-based.
We can talk about many topics, and I will gently correct your Japanese so you can sound more natural.
You can tell me what you want to practice, and I will adjust the lesson to your needs and level.
Lesson style:
• Conversation practice – talk, talk, talk with me!
• Natural corrections and expressions
• Japanese grammar (when needed)
• Reading short articles (if you like)
My lessons are flexible and suitable from beginner to advanced learners.
Please relax and enjoy the lesson.

Lessons with Ako-san are always fun, and I learn something new every time. She types notes that help with my understanding during the lesson, and they can be used later as study materials. I highly recommend lessons with Ako-san!
