Muneeb Ji is an exceptionally knowledgeable and thoughtful Urdu teacher. His curriculum is both comprehensive and beginner friendly. It covers grammar, syntax, vocabulary, pronunciation, registers and more. He is also able to explain things spontaneously and in depth, especially word etymology. What really sets him apart is that he teaches Urdu within the culture it represents. Poetry, literature, history, and cultural context are woven naturally into lessons and give the language meaning beyond individual definitions. He is kind and supportive. As someone who has learned languages himself, he has insight into the challenges of language acquisition, which I have found especially helpful as a beginner. Homework is provided without pressure and corrections are made without criticism. Both beginners and advanced learners would benefit greatly from his depth of knowledge of Urdu and its cultural context.

Another excellent lesson with Muneeb bhai. We learned about poetic devices used in Urdu poetry and discussed some current events. Very gratfeful for his efforts.

I have had 8 lessons with Muneeb Sir so far and they have been of excellent quality. He is a very encouraging teacher and varies his pace depending on previous Urdu experience to match up with the student. I get given extensive homework each lesson and he has a very vast knowledge of poetry and etymology which he draws upon to give you not only language learning but also the historical background upon which this great language is predicated.

Muneeb is a great teacher who tailors his lessons according to the student's capabilities. His vast knowledge of Urdu poetry and literature facilitates for very interesting and engaging lessons. I would highly recommend him!
