Aya

In my third lesson so far I was able to learn a lot about Keigo. She was able to teach me something about the topic that I didn’t know even though I thought I knew. ☺️ She was also understanding and flexible when you have limited time for studying or doing homework. I also enjoyed our free talk, which also helped me to be more communicative and open about my thoughts and questions to her rather than just having a purely strict student-teacher relationship.

Aya has excellent communication outside the class. She is very patient with me and helps me correct my mistakes with my pronunciation. She gave me feedback, and a plan for review for our next session. As a beginner in Japanese, learning from someone new can be intimidating, but I feel very comfortable working with her after the trial and a first session.

the lesson was well structured and i have learned so much from aya-sensei in only two lessons! i appreciate beginning with a review of what we’ve learned, and getting introduced to new grammar and vocabulary afterwards that is specific to my needs and wants learning japanese!

あやさんがレッスンのためにすごく準備してくださって感謝しています。iTalkiで色々なレッスンを受けたことがあるのですが、あやさんが一番準備した教師です。僕なんか初心者じゃないから日本語をチャレンジしたかったのです。他人の教師に比べてあやさんは自然な日本語で話してくれて感謝しています。いつも赤ん坊のような日本語が大嫌いです。僕らの日系アメリカ人なんか現代的な日本語を話せてくるようにあやさんのレッスンを受けるべきだなぁと思います。

aya-sensei is very kind and patient, which i really appreciate. she corrects my pronunciation, helps explain grammar points, and challenges me, all making me a better learner! i am grateful for our lessons together.
