My name is Ty and I love learning. I am fascinated by many things and consider myself not only a teacher but a lifelong student. My goal is to keep things interesting, whether that’s traveling to a new country, trying new foods, or learning a new language. I try to combine creativity and an excitement for life with everything I do. I am a professionally trained teacher with a degree in Education. I have had the privilege of teaching at the university level, privately, and for large international corporations. My teaching experience has primarily focused on adult learners, and I am comfortable teaching both beginners and advanced students. One unique advantage I have as a teacher is the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin Chinese. I craft my lessons according to the needs of each student and create individualized lessons based on their goals and interests. I am proficient in teaching many aspects of English and can easily adapt my lessons to cater to each student’s needs. I am also very good at identifying areas students need to work on in order to progress. Highly Recommend to Chinese students who want to improve English！The lesson with Ty is one of the BEST on italki! He is super kind, interesting and patient teacher.
