리미 Rimee

오늘 수업을 너무 재미있었어요!

오늘 수업도 감사합니다! 더움이 많이 됐습니다 ^^.

Rimee was very nice and well-intentioned, and is probably a great teacher for someone more advanced in Korean. But for me, with very basic Korean, I learned pretty much nothing in our class. Rimee spoke at a level far far about my listening comprehension and at what seemed like a fluent pace, so I understood very little of what she actually said. I will say Rimee picked the perfect textbook for my learning goals, but during the class we zoomed through the textbook (we probably covered 3-4 sections in 45 minutes), reading each vocabulary and sentence only once before moving on, many without even providing examples. Probably most significant is the fact that the vast majority of the class was Rimee talking. She asked me only a few questions at the very beginning, and after that there was practically no interaction with me. I’m sure Rimee is a much better fit for more advanced learners, but her teaching style didn’t work for my level of Korean.

선생님 수업을 받은 지 몇 개월이 지났는데, 제 한국어 실력이 확실히 늘어난 것 같아요. 그래서 요즘 한국어를 공부하는 게 더 재미있어요. 앞으로도 잘 부탁드립니다!
