Hi there! I'm Océane, a positive-minded and curious French woman with a passion for human beings, languages, and travel! I currently live in the beautiful landscapes of Finland, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in English. I also hold a French Master's degree of medical sciences and a TEFL certificate as an English tutor. What I love to do in my free time; I enjoy practicing yoga, laughing, exploring new places, dancing, having deep conversations with friends, and reading!💛 As a teacher, I understand the challenges of settling in a new country and the pressure of speaking another language on the spot, which is why I want to support English and French learners on their learning journey and help make the process easier and more enjoyable. ✨ I have been teaching French privately for a year now, and I am embarking on this new adventure of teaching English! From the perspective of someone whose English isn’t very good and who has only a bit of experience with French, I feel like French is kind of difficult for me. I’ve tried learning a little on my own, so I do have some basic understanding, but it still feels challenging. At the same time, when my teacher explains things, it doesn’t seem as hard. I still struggle with a lot of the pronunciation, but at least I can understand what he’s saying.
