I had a such a great lesson with Chie-san. Sharing our respective experiences with traveling and studying languages was both fun and inspiring to me. I felt even more motivated to work hard to keep studying Japanese by talking with Chie-san. She was very easy to talk to, asked plenty of great questions to keep the conversation going and did a great job in introducing me to more natural phrases and words with explanations.

Chie-san was patient and very considered. I had a conversation lesson with Chie-san and she was very helpful in helping me find the Japanese words I was looking for.

I've worked with Chie-san nearly every week for the past 1.5 years, and she is an excellent teacher that I highly recommend for beginners and advanced learners alike. She is very patient and provides helpful hints, enabling me to better learn conversational Japanese in a natural way. Her English skills are the best of the teachers I've experienced on iTalki, but above all, she is very friendly and positive, making the experience something I always look forward to. Whereas some other teachers seemed frustrated, impatient or stern, I always felt comfortable with Chie, which has helped me to better access the words I'm looking for and put me in a more receptive learning state.
