Teacher Shin is so amazing. He is always supportive and helpful. Working through the textbook and materials with him is always enjoyable and engaging. He is very encouraging and patient, I never feel judged or stressed during our lessons. I always look forward to our lessons.

If every Korean lesson were as fun and effective as my sessions with Heonsoo, I'd be fluent by now... or at least I'd be dreaming in Korean already! Every class brings more challenging grammar and new vocabulary, and my biggest worry is forgetting it all right after learning it or stumbling when I need it most. But Heonsoo has a way of making complex concepts stick. Not only does he teach them clearly, but he also gives me ample practice time to really commit everything to memory. He thinks of relevant sample sentences and asks just the right questions to get me talking. This method has truly helped me make Korean a natural part of myself, and I've even started looking forward to the homework—despite my limited free time! It was wonderful. I love it how he uses the material to build structure, and also how we breaks from it, from time to time, in order to ask me to make sentences, and actually put the learning to use.

I've been tempted to simply say 'another great lesson,' but after 20+ sessions with Heonsoo, I think a more thorough review is in order. He's consistently well-prepared, shares his own teaching materials, and has an impressive ability to recall past topics and conversations. His teaching style is both supportive and patient, encouraging me to correct my mistakes without feeling judged. Beyond his teaching skills, Heonsoo is a genuinely kind and content person who is always open to others. If you're seeking a top-notch teacher, look no further.

The class is a lot of fun. We review material, and practice what we learn - with is very important to me. Every now and again - there are tests and fun games of practice - it's great to mix the structure and the fun of free talk -- but always coming back to the structure. It's a great balance.

Wonderful lesson! We continued our lessons by reading an article out loud and stopping whenever I had questions or he had points to add that would make me better understand the text. 헌수 선생님 is always ready to provide examples and bits of cultural information to better explain his arguments and the nuance of the Korean language.
