I have been working with Michele for over a year, and the progress in the fluency of my spoken English has been remarkable. The sessions are always engaging and really fun. Michele is a very positive and encouraging person, and she creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes every lesson something to look forward to.

My English lesson with Michele was absolutely amazing! Michele is a very kind, friendly, and professional teacher, and it’s a real pleasure to talk with her. The lesson was fun, natural, and very beneficial. I especially enjoyed our shared topic about dogs — the conversation was interesting, enjoyable, and full of new vocabulary. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, I felt comfortable speaking and really enjoyed the whole lesson. Thank you, and I’m looking forward to the next one!

The lesson was okay overall, BUT At one point we disagreed on something. The teacher implied that I was superficial and lacked maturity. Honestly, I didn't mind being challenged, this is the kind of thing that actually improve my conversational skills, so I was very happy to engage. The problem is that, right when I wanted to reply, she quickly wished me "all the best" and abruptly stopped the lesson at the 55-minute mark for a "5-minute break" and never came back. This is the first time it happens to me on italki. In the end, I felt like she was simply tired of the conversation and wanted to end it as fast as possible. It felt very disrespectful. As a result, I didn't get much feedback on my English, and I left the lesson feeling it had been unproductive. Nobody is perfect, and I genuinely hope the teacher takes this as constructive feedback to give better lessons for their next students.
