Thanks to my lessons with Riri I've become much more comfortable speaking Japanese! Her friendly and encouraging attitude has helped me learn real, natural ways of speaking that I can comfortably use with my Japanese friends. She frequently uses examples to reinforce new concepts and make them easy to understand. She's good at picking up on whether or not I understand things she says without stopping the conversation so it always flows naturally. She's always funny and lighthearted which takes the pressure off of speaking, and I always have fun in her lessons. I also really enjoy listening to her podcast and it's great listening practice! I'm so thankful for her and hope she always continues to teach!

Riri-san is really kind and guides the conversation well. For me it was hard to keep talking for a whole hour, but she always had plenty of questions and things to ask me about. If I didn't understand something, she explained it very well in easy Japanese.

The lessons with Riri are so much fun! I've already learned a lot of new words and also some Kansai-ben. She always writes down new words for me and gives a lot of examples how to use them. What I appreciate most is that she speaks at a natural speed and only slows down when I get stuck.

Riri is such a friendly, warm and encouraging teacher. She truly makes an effort to explain things I don't understand in simple Japanese instead of switching to English, which I highly appreciate, and she always makes the conversation flow freely even though I can't speak Japanese very well yet. Riri-sensei was very kind, patient and easy to talk to. This was my first ever online Japanese class, so I was admittedly a bit nervous in the beginning. But Riri-sensei was quick to create a calm, pressure-free atmosphere that made me feel more able to speak Japanese confidently.
