Great first class. Ismaira listened to my personal goals for learning Spanish, had many relevant questions for me, and she is now planning our first grammar lesson. I think I will be learning a lot from her! Mil gracias y nos vemos la semana que viene!

Ismaira es una excelente profesora, siempre agradable y atenta. Sus clases varían desde gramática hasta comprensión y conversación, lo que las hace muy completas y dinámicas. Realmente disfruto cada lección y, sin duda, la recomiendo como profesora de español.

Es una profesional con muy buenas aptitudes para la enseñanza, sabe inmediatamente cuàles son las necesidades del alunno y también es muy clara a la hora de explicar la lección. Muy racomendable.

Another excellent class. And another surprising class in which learned new details about a grammar topic that until today I thought I had at least understood if not mastered. Very helpful.

Muy buena profesora! Siempre prepara mucho material didáctico. Es muy receptiva a mis necesidades y me prepara bien para el examen C1. Además es muy simpática y las clases siempre son muy divertidas.

Because the teacher is so well prepared with lesson plans that build upon one another, and because the lessons combine grammar instruction, conversation, word games, and practice sessions that reinforce each new grammar topic, I have overcome my fear of speaking as well as my fear of verb tenses during these 10 classes and have learned in more detail many points of grammar that I had not previously understood well. The ability to relax in class is due in large part to the teacher’s calm and patient presence during each lesson. Her reassuring personal style and teaching competence open the door to interactive learning (very different from online, non-interactive methods I have used) that has been key to accelerating my confidence and capacity to learn Spanish. After 10 classes I see improvement. There is joy in learning a new language that is often obscured by the frustration of not knowing it. I am grateful to my teacher for decreasing that frustration and cultivating the joy.
