My name is Jasmine, and I am a born teacher. From Childhood, I have loved to teach people because helping people understand new things has always brought me great joy. It was only natural for me to pursue a career in teaching.
I care deeply about people and animals. This is why I have been a volunteer worker since the age of eighteen. Volunteer work gives my life a sense of purpose and helps me to connect with people that I would not typically meet.
In the future, I hope to expand my work with animals as a Canine Trainer and Groomer. I would like to open my own business: A Dog Daycare.
My goal in life is to help as many people as possible; I think iTalki is the perfect way to do this.Moi en tant que professeur
Last year, I qualified as a TEFL teacher with The TEFL Academy.
As you have heard in my introduction video, I have tutored people in my neighbourhood since I turned eighteen. That means I have a total of 6 years teaching experience!
I am a versatile teacher; I have taught people of all ages. I have good chemistry with young students because I have worked with kids for so long. However, I have also taught adults who desire to be life-long learners.
I believe that they best teachers are the ones that display respect to their students.

As a teacher: I am good at adjusting to each student's needs, I take a genuine interest in others, and I am a natural caretaker of those who trust me to teach them.
I use teaching techniques such as: Repetition for emphasis, Point of view questions and regular commendation of progress.
I understand that many students have a limited attention span. This is why I employ visual aids and keep my lessons brief. This ensures that the students get the most out of their lessons.Mes ressources d'enseignement
