Lillian always prepares well before delivering her class. She is enthusiastic and encouraging throughout the lesson and gives me plenty of chances to practice speaking. She is happy to answer any questions I have and integrate them into the lesson. The pace of the lesson is just right- adapting to my grasp of the new topics. We practiced a lot today all of the things I’ve learned so far, so it’s really great to remember all the vocabulary we learned so far. Lillian is a great motivator, and encourages you a lot to practice talking and reading.

It’s only been a few short weeks, and already I feel like I can say a lot in Chinese. Each class is a new unit that’s just the perfect size for beginners with a easy to understand step by step approach. We also get to practice what we saw in previous unit, by reusing those words in the day’s unit. There’s a lot of emphasis on speaking, and with Lillian’s guidance, I’m able to try making new sentences and be creative with Chinese, which I find very helpful.
