Hi! Isn’t it a nice day? Let’s get acquainted — I’m Eugene Uvarov, a patient and passionate Russian language teacher, learner, and family man. Fond of languages, I’m here to teach you mine. I play chess, edit films, solve the Rubik’s Cube sub-30 sec, and write poetry in rhyme. Certified by Moscow State University, with degrees in pedagogy, economics, and law from Tula State University. My motivation is simple: Yesterday you couldn’t speak — tomorrow you’ll tell stories. I am an informal professional teacher. We use textbooks as structure, but speak constantly, across all skills: speaking, writing, listening and reading. No homework — slower progress. Let’s start speaking the language. Ready?
My academic background is here. I am a certified teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language, completed the Moscow State University’s courses. I also have a bachelor’s degree in general pedagogy of Tula State University. Apart from teaching, I was awarded a master’s degree in economics and bachelor’s in law by Tula State University. This is what motivates me to teach: Yesterday he came and wasn't able to speak a word in Russian. Tomorrow he’ll be able to tell stories. Try it.
I am an informal professional teacher. This is what determines my style of teaching. Yes, we use textbooks but only as a structure. Textbooks are only paper. They don’t speak but we will. I have been having lessons with Евгений for over a year now. Not only has my Russian improved immeasurably, but the lessons are as interesting, challenging, and fun now as they were at the beginning. Евгений puts a lot of time into the lesson prep and correcting homework which is very much appreciated.
