I am a friendly, approachable, and experienced teacher of English currently working in the north of Spain. A native speaker, I am practiced in teaching adults of all levels, and I have proven success in helping students achieve their goals in the Cambridge English and IELTS exams.
I have a strong background in teaching business English to professionals, and I can provide business classes on a wide range of topics for individuals or organizations. My lessons are very flexible and have a strong communicative focus. You will be using real English from the first class, and our aim will be to help you feel confident in a wide range of communicative situations. The classes that I offer include the Cambridge FCE and CAE courses, preparation for the IELTS exams, conversation and speaking development, business English, and interview preparation.

The modules covered include needs analysis and course design, selecting and developing materials, teaching business speaking skills, teaching business writing skills, intercultural training, and teaching English for specific purposes.

30-Hour IELTS preparation qualification - The TEFL Institute - 2024This certification is a 30-hour specialist training course for experienced teachers who intend to teach IELTS preparation courses. The modules covered are: an introduction to IELTS, teaching listening for IELTS, teaching reading for IELTS, teaching writing for IELTS, teaching vocabulary for IELTS, and possible challenges that the teacher may encounter.

Chris is a very efficient and high standard teacher. He knows perfectly how exams (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE) work and he has a lot of tips and resources to help you. The class is dynamic and you have a lot of fun. Also, he makes the most of a 60 minutes class!!
