My name is Anastasiia. I am not only a native Russian speaker, but I have also completed a professional retraining program at MSU in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language. I am continuing my studies in Theory and Methods of Foreign Language Teaching.
I live in Serbia and study foreign languages myself, so I understand the challenges students face. That is why I aim to explain Russian in a clear and systematic way, with a focus on real communication.
As a teacher, I am deeply interested in finding the most effective ways for my students to learn Russian. Every new student is an opportunity to embark on an exciting language-learning journey, and with each student, this journey is unique. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people from different countries and cultures. In our lessons, we speak a lot, and grammar is explored through practical, real-life communication.
I specialize in working with A0–B1 level students.
I work using the communicative approach: during our lessons we speak a lot and gradually work through grammar through practice. I pay close attention to each student’s goals and adapt the lessons to their level and interests. The teacher adapted the lesson to my level, had a clear plan going forward, was very patient and helpful and encouraging when filling in the gaps in my vocabulary - looking forward to many more lessons with her

I’m very satisfied with Anastasiia’s lesson.
She is very energetic and patient, and she really encourages her students to speak a lot. Even though my level is not good at all, I was able to speak Russian for the entire 30 minutes.
I feel a great sense of fatigue—but in a very "positive" way, like after sports or a good workout.
I highly recommend her, even for beginners.
